More than ever & for all sorts of reasons – Fossil fuel vehicles need to go & be replaced by electric vehicles.

Ready Steady EV® is a deployable kerbside charging solution that goes up-and-over pavement. “Not in pavement” or with the charging cord laying on top.
The Ready Steady EV® is designed to work with the customer’s EV charger. Preserving the safety chain of the connected EVSE and maintaining the EV charger-to-vehicle electrical safety path via a fully enclosed & protected system.
The EV charging cable is kept out of walk space and positioned above the pavement, without trenching under the pavement. No street furniture!
Supports UK Bi-Directional Charging Scheme
Ready Steady EV® is designed to support that capability through the EVSE-to-vehicle connection & maintains the customer’s EVSE bi-directional capability.
Standard wall-plug/outlet solutions typically do not provide the control, metering, and functionality required for reliable L2 and bi-directional operation.
Ready Steady EV® is not an EV charger. The customer connects a UK-certified EVSE (charger/cable) of their choice to Ready Steady EV®: they plug their charging cord into the device, then deploy the arm to keep the cable elevated over the footway/kerb area.
The system is designed for safe overnight use from typical UK EVSEs, supporting L1/L2 operation (e.g., 16A and 32A) using UK-approved / certified cable.
Ready Steady EV® uses keyed security and includes pavement lighting during use, powered using 12 volts DC.
The City Centre and Garden Front models are designed to minimize street impact by not adding street furniture or obstructing the pavement.
The unit is mounted on private property and simulates a lamppost during the day to reduce visual impact on kerbside views.
Ready Steady EV® uses enclosure and cable protection to create a “no-trip” charging solution that removes the need for cables laid across pavement and avoids under-pavement works. “No-Trip” also means no time lost in the morning trying to find charging. With Ready Steady EV® you leave home in the morning – Fully Charged!
